Wise Anti Malware

Wise Anti Malware can protect your system against viruses, malware and other threats. It comes with active scanning and real-time protection capabilities and it also provides a few useful cleanup tools. The software can block incoming threats, but you can also hunt down for existing infections, clear out temporary data and other junk files and remove any adware that might have slipped through in your browsers.

At the time of writing, the software is in early beta, so there are some improvements you can expect. It is compatible with all popular Windows platforms and it can be installed quickly and easily. There are no special requirements you have to meet and you won't notice any conflicts if you already have an antivirus solution installed.

The software's functions can be accessed in different sections of its user interface. The "Quick Check" page acts as a dashboard, on which you can get a few useful details, as well as an option for performing a general checkup. This will scan your system for privacy risks, malware, adware, temporary files, and Registry issues. Once the scan is finished, you can fix everything immediately, with a single click.

The malware scanner is the software's central feature. It can be found on its own tab, where you will find options for a quick scan, a full scan and a custom scan. If you opt for a full scan, you will have all the chances of identifying infections if there are any on your system. Alternatively, you can decide to perform a custom scan, if you want to check specific folders for infections.

The system cleaner can identify temporary data and other junk files, left behind by the operating system itself or by third party browsers and applications. You can target one or more categories or specific items from a category. Just like with the other scan types, you can remove anything you find with a single click.

The adware cleaner works just like all the other tools. Simply click a button and the software will look for adware on your computer and it will present its findings on the same interface, at which point you can select them individually and hit an option to delete them.
